Dear participant, in this section of our website you will find information on accommodation available at special prices for people participating in the Master Classes of the European Academy of Music and Arts seated in Palazzo Ricci. For registration and information about the courses you should directly apply to the office of the Academy by writing to mail info@palazzoricci.com.
Regarding the reservation of the accomodation which must always be made through our agency, here is some important information we ask you to read carefully before proceeding to the reservation by clicking on the booking form.
The "standard apartments for students", in the centre of Montepulciano, are generally composed of one or more bedrooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms and kitchen. Linen and towels are provided with weekly change (further changes may be required on extra paying).
Costs for electricity, water and gas and the initial cleaning are included. Heating cost are always extra.
These types of apartments can be rented for a minimum of 5 nights.
They must be left clean and tidy, without garbige, otherwise a surcharge up to € 50.00 per apartment may be required for the final cleaning.
For periods of less than 5 nights only hotel bookings are possible.
All hotel bookings are prepaid and not refoundable.
The reception for housing is dealt with by our agency, from 15:00 to 19:00 on the day of arrival.
For later arrivals, but no later than 20:00, and previously agreed on, there is a surcharge of 10.00 euros per person.
IT IS IN NO WAY POSSIBLE TO HAVE FIRST ACCESS TO ACCOMMODATION IN APARTMENTS AFTER 20:00
In standard apartments for students, shared with other participants:
Single bedroom € 50.00 per night
Bed in multiple room € 35.00 per person per night
In standard apartment for students, in exclusive use (1 bedroom/1 bathroom/kitchen):
Apartment (for max of 2 people) € 80.00 per night

For all types of booking the fee for the reservation/check-in is equal to € 10.00 per person.
Remember, you must present a valid ID: Identity Card or Passport (driving license is not accepted as an identity document).
The reservation is confirmed and guaranteed only after written confirmation of the Terre Toscane Agency (after sending the booking form, duly filled in) and upon the anticipated payment of the required 30% of the total price.
In case of cancellation the amount paid in advance is not refunded, and is considered a cancellation fee.
The balance for the accommodation must be paid in our office (Via del Poliziano, 52 – Town center of Montepulciano ) the day of arrival, at check-in.
You cannot pay directly at the apartment and/or the hotel.
TOURIST TAX: In accordance with Council Resolution No. 91 of 30 November 2011, the Municipality of Montepulciano has introduced a Tourist Tax, to take effect from 1 February 2012. The tax is payable by non-residents for overnight accomodation in the area of the Municipality of Montepulciano www.comune.montepulciano.siena.it
The ammount payable, per person per night, for each tipology is (in force at 15 December 2023) :
Children under 12 years are exempt.
The touristic tax must be paid at check-in in cash.
