This small hotel, located in the heart of Montepulciano close to the Piazza Grande and the Poliziano Theatre, was recently renewed. Set among the Renaissance palaces of this hilltown, it has an entrance on the main street and another on a side street, and has free parking for guests nextdoor. The 12 rooms (of which 4 can have added beds) are well furnished, with shower, satellite TV and telephone. Breakfast is served in summer on the fine garden terrace, which gives the hotel its name. There is a bar, reading room and free Internet access. The hotel is family-run and friendly.
